This upgrade is being performed to meet current Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards and provide a technology platform to meet future EMV security standards (Chip and PIN) that are to be implemented in the year 2017. Petroleum Scope of Work: 1. Disconnect existing product lines from top of impact valves so existing Wayne Vista dispensers can be removed. All work is to be performed above the impact valves. The existing Stage II vapor recovery system has already been decommissioned and disconnected. New dispensers will not be equipped with Stage 11 vapor recovery. 2. Disconnect and remove existing Wayne Vista dispensers. Dispenser inlets are to be properly capped and secured for transportation. All dispensers are to be saved in as is condition and transported to storage yard for resale to Pump Remanufacturer. 3. Wipe Down and rough clean existing dispenser containment sumps prior to new dispenser installation. 4. Install new 7 -Eleven furnished Encore 700 dispensers over existing under dispenser containment sumps. Secure dispensers to existing concrete as per manufacturer's requirements and engineers detail. 5. Extend product piping from top of impact valve to dispenser inlets. 6. Install new 7 -Eleven furnished hanging hardware IE: Hose / Nozzle Assemblies, Hose Retractors on diesel dispenser only. 7. Furnish and install appropriate Mobil and Fl. Dept. of Ag. Decals on dispenser. 8. Dispenser start-up, calibration and point of sale installation to be performed by manufacturers certified start-up technician. Start-up technician to submit a placed in service report to the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Division of Standards, Bureau of Petroleum Inspection for all new dispensers and meters being placed into service. Please note that when dispenser upgrades are performed and all work is performed above the dispenser impact valves. Environmental permitting, inspections or product line testing is not required by the Palm Beach County Department of Environmental Resources Management for the petroleum scope of work being performed. For questions regarding environmental permitting and testing requirements, please contact: Patrick Wille Storage Tank Compliance Program Supervisor PBC Dept of Environmental Resources Management 2300 North Jog Road, 4th Floor West Palm Beach, FL 33411-2743 561-233-2505 Office 561-233-2414 Fax pwille@pbcgov.org Electrical Scope of Work: 1 Properly Lock -out / tag out all fuel system dispensing devices and pumps prior to any work being performed. 2. Disconnect power, data and intercom wiring under existing dispensers so dispensers can be removed. All existing underground dispenser power and data wiring is to be saved, secured for reuse. The proposed scope of work is based upon reusing existing power and data wiring to the dispensers. 3. Disconnect and remove existing Wayne interface box and install new Gilbarco Data Box. 4. Upon installation of new dispensers, reconnect existing power and data wiring to new dispensers. The installation of an approved junction box and/or extending the existing wiring shall be permitted to properly connect new dispensers. All wiring methods shall comply with 2008 NEC Article 514 Note: Because future payment card industry technology will require high speed communication to the dispenser. This can be achieved two ways as per Gilbarco's installation instructions. One is to utilize dispenser data communication wiring if it meets Gilbarco installation specification requirements and the second is by the use of a 10 base T or Ethernet connection using a minimum Cat5 Cable. It is 7 -Eleven's direction that if the existing data wiring to the dispenser does not meet Gilbarco's minimum standards and a new means of communication must be installed for future use, The preferred method of communication would be an Ethernet connection and installing a Cat6 underground cable with a fully flooded gel core. Ethernet cabling cannot be installed with power wiring and must be installed in the Low Voltage / intercom raceway. 5. Current dispenser data wiring is believed to not meet Gilbarco's requirements for future high speed communication. Contractor is to furnish and install (1) new Cat6 underground cable with fully flooded gel filled core to each dispenser. New cath cable is to be installed in the existing intercom raceway to each dispenser. a. Disconnect existing intercom cabling to each dispenser and clear existing electrical seal fittings (replace as needed). b. Remove existing intercom wiring so new Cat6 Cable can be installed to dispensers. c. Furnish and install new intercom wiring and new cath cabling to each dispenser. i. Cat6 Cable: Vertical Cable #069-560/CMXF Direct Burial, Gel Filled (Flooded Core) ii. Intercom Cable West Penn AquaSeal AQC359 Intercom / Audio Cable d. Properly pack and pour electrical seal fittings with approved materials as per manufactures specifications. e. Re -terminate all dispenser intercom wiring and test system for proper operation upon completion. f. Future Cat6 cables are to be routed to the dispenser interface area and with each fueling position number for future use. 6. Upon completion of dispenser upgrade, test fuel system emergency stop system for proper operation. Fuel system is not to be returned to service without a fully functional fuel system emergency stop system and a means to reset that is acceptable to the authority having jurisdiction.
