AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 23A OF THE
CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY (OTHERWISE
DESCRIBED AS ORDINANCE NO. 59- 6) ESTABLISHING
RATES~ FEES AND OTHER CHARGES FOR THE USE
OF THE SERVICES AND FACILITIES OF THE MUNICIPAL

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON
BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Section 23A-3 of the codified ordinances of
the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,

"Section 1.
The rates, fees and charges (herein sometimes
called the "Sewer Service Charge") for the use of~ and for the services and
facilities furnished or to be furnished by, the sewage disposal system, to be
paid by the owner~ tenant, or occupant of each lot or parcel of land, or of any
unit, apartment, or any other type of improvement located thereon, which ma~
be connected with or may use the sewage disposal system by or through any
part of the sewer system of the City, shall be based or computed upon the I
number and kind of plumbing fixtures connected with the sewer system or upon
the quantity of the water supplied therein, as indicated in the following rate

In addition to the rates set forth herein, the City Council reserve
the right to require pre-treatment, special rates or other measures necessary
to cope with and protect the City against the introduction of unusual types of
waste in the City sewer system.

established a sewer connection charge of $100.00 per connection, which shall
be levied against all connections made to the system later than six months
after municipal sanitary sewer service

SECTION 2:

SECTION 3: Repealing Provisions. All ordinances or parts of
ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4: I~ffective Date. This ordinance shall become
effective in the manner and at the time proviied by the charter and ordinances
of the City of tBoynton BeaCh, Florida.
