AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
FLORIDA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO, 62-9 OF SAID
CITY CONSTITUTING THE MASTER. ~ONING CODE
TO PROVIDE. FOR THE CREATION OF AN ADDITIONAL
MULTIPLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DWELLING
DISTRICT TO BE. DESIGNATED ZONE R-3A, PROVIDING
A.SAVINGS CLAUSE, REPEALING PROVISIONS, AN
EFFECTIVE DATE AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON
BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1- That Ordinance No. 62-9 of the CITY OF BOYNTOI
BEACH, FLORIDA, -as heretofore amended, is hereby further amended by
adding an additional Section thereto to be designated Section 31-7.1 to read:
"Section 31.7-1
District.
R3A Multiple Family Residential Dwelling
(A) Uses permil ted. Within any R-3A Mutliple Family
Residential Dwelling District, no dwelling, structure,
land or water, may be used except for one or more
of the following uses:
1. Any use permitted in Zones R-1AA, R-iA, R-l,
[sii~gla-'fam~l'~ re sidential dwellings)
2. Mu!tiple~ Family Residential Dwellings, consisting
of apartments,~ co-operatives, condominiums, or other
types of multi-family complexes. (ex,eluding duplexes)
(B) Building Regulations. Building height, building site
area, yard and lot coverage regulations, general provisions,
off-street parking and minimum fioDr area requirements
for Zone R-3A shall be identical to those provided for
Zone R-3 in Sec. 31-7 of this Code pertaining to multiple
farn~ dwelling units.
SECTION 2: Separability. Each of the provisions of this
ordinance are separable, including word, phrase, clause, or sentence, and if
any portion hereof shall be declared invalid, the remaining portion shall not bc
affected but shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 3: Repealing Provisions. All ordinances or parts
of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4: Effective date. This ordinance shall become effec-
rive in the manner and at the time provided by the Charter and Ordinances of
the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA.
