AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON
BEACH, FLORIDA, REVISING CERTAIN FEES RELATING
TO PLUMBING.WITHIN TH]E MUNICIPAL LIMITS OF SAID
CITY, PROVIDING AUTHORITY TO CODIFY: REPEALING
PROVISIONS, AN EFFECTIVE DATE,AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
PREAMBLE
This Ordinance is deemed to be an emergency measure
enacted for the immediate preservation of the public
peace, property, health and safety of the inhabitants
of the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, and for
the efficient daily operation of the municipal plumbing
inspection department.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON
BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: The second sentence of Section 22-7 of the Codified
Ordinances of the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, is hereby
amended to read:
Before a Master Plumber shall engage in the plumbing business
he shall be examined by and obtain from the Board of Plumbing
Commissioners, a certificate for which he shall pay the sum
of FIFTY DOLLARS ($50. 00).
SECTION 2: The occupational license schedule of the CITY OF
BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, provided for under the provisions of
Chapter 15 of the Codified Ordinances of said City is hereby amended as
follows:
Master Plumber's occupational license fee is increased
from $25.00 per annum to $50. 00 per annum.
Sprinkler System Contractor license fee increased
from $25.00 per annum to $50. 00 p~r annum.
Well Driller Contractor license fee increased from
$25.00 per annum to $30. 00 per annum.
Septic Tank Coniractor license fee increased from
$25.00 per annum to $50. 00 per annum.
SECTION 3: Specific authority is hereby granted to codify and
incorporate this Ordinance into the City's existing code.
SECTION 4: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 5: Each of the provisions of this Ordinance are
separable, including word, clause, phrase, or sentence, and if any pro-
vision hereof shall be declared invalid, the remaining portion shall not be
affected by shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 6: This Ordinance is deemed to be an emergency measur~
