AN APPROPRIATIONS ORDINANCE OF THE CITY
OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, ADOPTING A
BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING
NOVEMBER 1, 1964 AND ENDING OCTOBER 31,
1965.
WHEREAS, the CITY CHARTER of the CITY OF BOYNTON
BEACH, FLORIDA, requires an appropriations ordinance be passed by the
City Council of said municipality each year, adopting a budget showing revenue
of lhe city from all sources and the estimated expenditures to the various
purposes for the ensuing fiscal year:
NOW, THEREFORE, be ii ordained by- the City Council of the
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, as follows:
SECTION 1: That the proposed budget for the ensuing fiscal year previously
prepared byihe City Manager now on file in the City Hall of the City of Boynion
Beach, Florida, be and the same is hereby adopted for the fiscal year of said
municipality beginning November 1, 1964, and ending October 31, 1965,
pursuant lo and in compliance with the provisions of Section 28 and Sect~ion 84
of the City Charter of the City of Boynion Beach, Florida, said budget being
made a part hereof by reference.
SECTION 2: That there is hereby appropriated the sum of $905,298. 00
to the General Fund for the payment of operating ~xpenses and necessary
capital outlay for the city government pursuant to the terms of the above
bu'dg~t.
SECTION 3: Thai there is hereby appropriated the sum of .$34, 1 99.00
to the Interest and Sinking Fund for general debt service for the purpose of
paying the interest due on the general obligation bonds of the City not subject
to statutory exemptions and for redeeming such bonds as they mature.

SECTION 4: That there is hereby appropriated the sum of $22,112.00 to the
Interest and Sinking Fund for general debt service for the purpose of paying
the interest due on the general obligation bonds of the city subject to statutory
exemptions and for redeeming such bonds as they mature.
SECTION 5: That there is hereby appropriated the sum of $5,200.00 to the
Interest and Sinking Fund for debt service fo~ the purpose of paying principal
and interest coming due on the municipal beach revenue certificates of the city
.s~ ~c~u~re~. by a specific pledge of utility and cigarette tax revenues and for
redeeming such certificates as they mature.
SECTION 6: That there is hereby appropriated the sum of $2. a:4, 659;...00 to the
Water Utility Fund and Sewer Utility Fund for operating expenses and necessar
capital outlay for the municipal water and sewer departments.
SECTION 7: That there is hereby appropriated the sum of $251,750.00
to the Interest and Sinking Fund of the combined municipal water and sewer
departments for the general debt service for the purpose of paying interest
due on the bonds of said departments and for redeeming such bonds as they
mature~ and for payment of outstanding developers' refunding agreements.
SECTION 8: That this ordinance shall become effective from and after its
passage in accordance with the Charter of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida,
in such case made and provided.
