AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON
BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING SECTION 22-3 OF THE
CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY BY PROVIDING
FOR THE.-APPOINTMENT OF TWO ALTERNATE M-EMBERS
TO THE BOARD OF PLUMBING COM-MISSIONERS O~ SAID
MUNICIPALITY; PROVIDING FOR A SAVINGS CLAUSE;
REPEALING PROVISIONS, AUTHORITY TO CODIFY, AN
EFFECTIVE DATE ~AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
PREAMBLE.
This ordinance is deemed to be an emergency measuz~e enacted
for the immediate preservation of the public peace, p~'operty,
he alth and safety of the inhabitants of the CITY OF BOYNTON
BEACH, FLORIDA, and for the efficient daily operation of the
Municipal Plumbing Ins pe ction De partme ut.
SE CTION I:

Sec. 22-3.
Section 22-3 of the codified ordinances of the CITY
FLORIDA, be and the same is hereby amended to read
Board of plumbing commissioners, created, compo-
sition.
There shall be and is hereby created a board of pl~

The City Council may appoint two alternate members [o said
Board of Plumbing Commissioners to serve in the event of the
death, resignation, disqualification or other occurrenc~ rendering
any regular member unable to serve in any given situation. Said
alternate member or members shall be requested to sec'ye at the
direction of the Plumbing Inspector in his capacity as Caairman of
the Board of Plumbing Commissioners, when in his d'

SECTION 2: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: Should any seclion or provision of this ordinance,
or any poriion hereof be declareJby a court of competent jurisdiction to be
invalid, such decision shall nol affecl the validity of ihe remainder hereof as
a whole or any part hereof, other than the part declared to be invalid.
SECTION 4. Special authority is hereby granted to codify and
incorporate this ordinance in the City, s existing code.
SECTION 5: This ordinance is deemed to be an emergency
measure and shall take effecl immediately upon passage.
