O63-30ORDINANCE NO. 63-30 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON B~ACH, FLORID4, AMENDING SECTION 17-23 OF TIIE CQDI- FIED ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY PROHIBITING THE PRESENCE OF MINORS IN POOL HALLS AND PROVID- ING CER[FAIN EXCEPTIONS THERETO; FURTHEI~ PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR VIOLATION THEREOF; A SAVINGS/ CLAUSE, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA: Section 1. That Section 17-23 of the Codified Ordinances of the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, be and the same is hereby amended to read: Section 17-23 (a) It is unlawful for any person, his servant or employee to permi~anyone under the age of twenty-one (21).years to visit or frequent or play in any billiard parlor in the C~:.i~; pr~vided~ however, this shall not apply to any person on active or who h; by his pa which thc of the mi panied b) be revok, parent o~ convictio permit si permits alcoholic duty in the armed services of the Unite~ ~ ~ates, ~s a written permit or card signed and ndt~ rized rent or guardian and filed in the establish~.~ent to permit or card is given by the parent or ~ardian aor involved, or a married minor, or wtl~ ~ accom- ~r, parent or guardian. (b) It shsll be the duty of any person who is the pro- prietor or keeper of a billiard parlor or pool hall to post conspicuously in his place of business the following sigh:- "Minors under the age of twenty-~e (2~) years n~t allowed here ~vithout written permission of parent. Seotion 2. Penalty: Any person, firm or corpor of violation of this Ordinance shall be punished by fine not exce~ Hundred Dollars ($500. $0) or by imprisonment in the Ci2y jail f~ not exceeding ninety days or both such fine and imprisonment. Section 3.
