3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
4 FLORIDA ADOPTING AN AMENDED ANNUAL
5 COMPREHENSIVE FEE SCHEDULE FOR FISCAL YEAR
6 2023-2024; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; AND
7 PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

11 WHEREAS,the City is authorized to establish and collect fees for services rendered by
12 the City; and
13
14 WHEREAS,on September 5,2023 Commission adopted Resolution R23-108 approving
15 rate increases; and
16
17 WHEREAS, on September 14, 2023 the Commission had the second reading of the
18 Fiscal Year 2024 Budget which was then recessed to September 27, 2023 for adopting of the
19 Fiscal Year 2024 Budget where these rates will take effect; and
20
21 WHEREAS, the Commission discussed possible changes to the rates regarding Utility
22 Stormwater, Water and Wastewater; and
23
24 WHEREAS,the City Commission, upon recommendation of staff, adopts the amended
25 annual Comprehensive Fee Schedule for Fiscal Year 2023-2024.

27 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
28 BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS:

30 Section 1. Each Whereas clause set forth above is true and correct and
31 incorporated herein by this reference.

33 Section 2. The City Commission adopts the amended annual Comprehensive Fee
34 Schedule for Fiscal Year 2023-2024,a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein
35 as Exhibit"A".

37 Section 3. All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby
38 repealed to the extent of such conflict.

Section 4. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage.
