O63-06ORDINANCE NO. 63-6 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, F~ORIDA, AMENDING SECTION 29-2 OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY, ESTABLISHING A SPEED LIMIT FOR VEHICULAR TRAFFIC OVER ALLEYWAYS WITHIN SAID CITY, PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE, SAVINGS CLAUSE, REPEALING PRO- VISIONS, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA: . SECTION 1: Sub-section (d) of sub-paragraph 1 of Schedule I, of Section 29-2 of the codified ordinances of the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, is hereby amended to read: (d) All other streets, avenues, road and thoroughfares used by vehicular traffic are limited to 25 mile~per hour speed limits, except alleyways whereon speed shall be limited to 15 miles per hour and where said ~peed limits are not inconsistent with other designated areas as specifically set forth herein. For the purpose of lhis Section, an Alleyway shall be defined as "a narrow street not exceeding 10 feet in .... t Wl~.~h, open for general public use". SECTION 2: Separability. Each of the provisions of this ordinance are separable, including word, clause, phrase, or sentence, and if any pro- vision hereof shall be declared invalid, the remaining portion shall not be affected but shall remain in full force and effect. SECTION 3: Repealing Provisions. All ordinances or parts of ordi~ ances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECT ION 4: Effective Date. This ordinance shall become effective in the manner and at the time provided by the charter and ordinances of the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA. First reading this 4th day of March, A. D. 1963.
