AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 15 OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY BY ADDING A SECTION
THERETO PERTAINING TO IDENTIFICATION OF ALL
TRUCKS, AUTOMOBILES AND OTHER VEHICLES
OPERATED OR USED IN CONNECTION WITH ANY
BUSINESS~ OCCUPATION OR PROFESSION WITHIN
THE CITY~ PROVIDING FOR AUTHORITY TO CODIFY,
AN EFFECTIVE DATE AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida
deems it essential in connection with the enforcement of the City's occupa-
tional license ordinance that all trucks, automobiles or other vehicles
operated or used in connection with any business, occupation or profession
in
conducted with/the City have proper marking or other identification;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH~ FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Chapter 15 of the Code of Ordinances of the
City of Boynton Beach, Florida is hereby amended by adding a section after
Section 15-27 thereof, to be designated Section 15-28, to read:
SECTION 15-28. Identification of Vehicles Required. Any and all
trucks, automobiles or other vehicles operated or used in connection with
any business, occupation or profession conducted within the municipal limits
of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida shall have painted or otherwise
prominently displayed in a legible manner upon such truck, automobile or
other vehicle the name and address of the business in which such truck,
automobile or other vehicle is used.
Any person, firm or corporation who violates, disobeys, omits,
neglects or refuses to comply with the provisions of this Section shall be
fined a sum not to exceed $25.00o Each day a violation exists or continues
shall constitute a separate offense.
SECTION 2: Separability. Each of the provisions of this ordinance

SECTION 3. Repealing Provisions. All ordinances or parts of
ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4. Authority to Codify. Specific authority is hereby
granted to codify and incorporate this ordinance in the City's existing code.
SECTION 5. Effective Date. This ordinance shall become
effective in the manner and at the time provided for by the Charter and
Ordinances of the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA.
