AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
DECLARING THE INTENTION OF SAID CITY TO EXTEND ITS-.
MUNICIPAL TERRITORIAL LIMITS BY THE ANNEXATION OF AN
UNINCORPORATED TRACT OF LAND LYING CONTIGUOUS THERETO
AND WITHIN PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA: REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH: PROVIDING FOR A
SAVINGS CLAUSE, AUTHORITY TO CODIFY, AN EFFECTIVE DATE,
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the owner of a certain tract of land, more particularly des-
cribed hereinafter, lying adjacent and contiguous to the territorial limits of
the City of Boynton Beach, and within Palm Beach County, Florida, has
petitioned the City Council for the annexation of said property by the City of
Boynton Beach; and
WHEREAS.. subject tract contains less than ten registered voles, s; and
WHEREAS, it is considered to be for the best interest of the City of
Boynton Beach, Florida, and for the owner and inhabiiants of subject tract
that same be annexed and ~'lncluded within the municipal territorial limits of
the City,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of the City of
Boynton Beach, Florida:
SECTION 1: That the City ~ouncil of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida,
h~Fcb?declares its intention to annex the following described ~ract of land
to the municipal territorial limits of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida:
Lois 48, 49, 50 and 51, AMENDED PLAT OF TRADE WINDS
ESTATE~, a subdivision in Palm Beach County, Florida,
according to the plat thereof on file in the office of the Clerk
of the Circuit Court in and for Palm Beach County, Florida,
recorded in Plat Book 21, Page 73.
SECTION 2: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: Should any section or provision of this ordinance, or any
portion hereof be declared by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid,
such decision shall not affect the validity of the remainder hereof as a whole
or any part hereof, other than the part declared to be invalid.
SECTION 4:. Specific authority is hereby granted to codify
and incorporate this ordinance in the City's existing code.
SECTION 5: This ordinance shall become effective in the mann Jr
and ai the time provided by the charter and ordinances of the City of
Boynton Beach, Florida.
