86-KKK A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA
APPROVING THE APPLICatION FOR PALM
BEACH COUNTY Bb~RG~ MfDICAL
SERVICE GRANT FUNDS
WHEREAS, Legislation has provided for a program that can make funds
~vailable to local emergency medical service programs; and
WHEREAS, the Palm Beach County Emergency Medical Services Division
~as made these grant funds available for the improvement and/or expansion
of f~nergency Medical Service Systems; and
WHEREAS, the Boynton Beach Fire Department represents the Emergency
~edical Service interest of the City of Boynton Beach; and
WHEREAS, the City of Boynton Beach recognized that these funds
Deing requested from Palm Beach County Emergency Medical Services Division
can and will be used to expand and/or improve the City's current H~S System.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH:
Section 1. The Mayor and City Council of the City of Boynton
Beach by adopting this Resolution are stating the initial approVal for the
application of these grant funds, and certifies that any such grant funds
received will be used in accord with the rules and regulations of this
program.
Section 2. This Resolution becomes effective immediately upon its
passage.
