3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
4 AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2022-2023 BUDGET FOR THE
5 MAUSOLEUM FUND (632); AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
6 DATE.

9 WHEREAS, the Fiscal Year 2022 -23 Budget was adopted in September 2022; and
10 WHEREAS, a budget amendment is required to increase the Mausoleum expenditures
11 due to an emergency expense for an electrical repair in the amount of$39,349 piggybacking
12 the Solid Waste Authority contract#22-25/LB; and
13 WHEREAS, the Mausoleum Fund (632) will be amended to reflect the increased
14 appropriations in expenditures from $26,674 to $66,674; and
15 WHEREAS, accordingly staff is requesting Commission approval to amend the Fiscal
16 Year 2022-23 budget as noted specifically on Exhibit A.
17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
18 BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
19 Section 1. The foregoing "Whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed as
20 being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution upon adoption
21 hereof.
22 Section 2. That the City Commission hereby approves amending the Fiscal Year
23 2022-2023 Budget for the Mausoleum Fund (6321) accounts which will adjust budgeted
24 appropriations, provide budget transfers, as noted on Exhibit "A" which Exhibit is attached
25 hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
26 Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage.
