A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
VACATING AND ABANDONING A FIVE (5)
FOOT UTILITY EASEMENT; SAID EAS~V~kv~
BEING MDRE PARTICLU_ARLY DESCRIBED
HEREIN; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
CITY C/.V. RK TO EXECUTE A DISCLAIMER
FOR SAiD EASEMENT; PROVIDING
EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Sally Benson, as agent for Humdeco, Inc., owners of
certain property located within the City of Boynton Beach, Florida has
requested the abandonment of the hereinafter described easement; and
W~EREAS, comments have been solicited from the appropriate
City Departments; and
WHEREAS public hearings have been held before the City's
Planning and zoning Board and City Council on the proposed abandon-
ment; and
kWr/EREAS, based on the foregoing information, said easement
no longer serves any useful purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section i: The City of Boynton Beach, Florida, by and
through its City Council, does hereby vacate and abandon for easement
purposes a piece of real property located in the City of Boynton
Beach, Florida, to-wit:
The North 2.5 feet of Lots 27, 28
and 29 and the South 2.5 feet of
Lots 22 and 23, Block 2, LAKE BOYNTON
ESTATES PLAT !, as recorded in Plat
Book 13, Page 32, Public Records of
Palm Beach County, Florida
Section 2: The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
and directed to execute and deliver the attached Disclaimer and cause
the same to be filed in the Public Records of Palm Beach County,
Florida.
Section 3: This Resolution shall take effect immediately
upon passage.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH
FLORIDA, SUPPORTING THE SPECIAL ACT
AMENDMENTS REQUESTED BY THE SOLID WASTE
AUTHORITY TO PERMIT SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS
AGAINST REAL PROPERTY.
WHEREAS, the Palm Beach County Solid Waste Authority has proposed
amendments to its Special Act which would permit the cost of solid waste
disposal and collection fees to the assessed against improved properties
and collected on the ad valorem tax bills; and
WHEREAS, the municipalities of Palm Beach coUnty ~uld benefit
from these amendments by no longer having to collect said fees from their
citizens in order to pay solid waste fees, which in most instances count as
a part of the ten mill limit on municipal taxation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE ~ND IT IS HERE~Y RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City of Boynton Beach, Florida hereby supports and
endorses the proposed Solid Waste Authority Special Act Amendments and
requests the Palm Beach County Legislative Delegation to enact said amend-
ments into law in the 1986 Florida Legislative Session.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to provide copies of
this Resolution to Members of the Legislative Delegation.
