4 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
5 FLORIDA, APPROVING THE ONE-YEAR EXTENSION
6 FOR RFPS/RFQS/BIDS AND/OR PIGGY-BACKS FOR THE
7 PROCUREMENT OF SERVICES AND/OR COMMODITIES
8 UNDER $100,000, AS DESCRIBED IN THE WRITTEN
9 REPORT FOR MARCH 5, 2024; AND PROVIDING AN
10 EFFECTIVE DATE.

13 WHEREAS,the Finance/Procurement Department submits requests for award to the
14 Commission; requests for approval to enter into contracts and agreements as the result of
15 formal solicitations; and to piggy-back governmental contracts; and
16 WHEREAS, options to extend or renew are noted in the "Agenda Request Item"
17 presented to the Commission as part of the initial approval process; and
18 WHEREAS,to provide an accurate and efficient method to keep the City Commission
19 informed of pending renewals and the anticipated expenditures, a monthly summary report of
20 each renewal and/or extension is produced; and
21 WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, upon the
22 recommendation of staff, deems it to be in the best interests of the City residents to approve
23 the one-year extension for RFPs/RFQs/Bids and/or piggy-backs for the procurement of
24 services and/or commodities under $100,000 as described in the written report for March 5,
25 2024.
26 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
27 CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,THAT:
28 SECTION 1. The foregoing"Whereas"clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed as
29 being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution
30 upon adoption hereof.
31 SECTION 2. The City Commission hereby approves the one-year extension for
32 RFPs/RFQs/Bids and/or piggy-backs for the procurement of services and/or
33 commodities under $100,000 as described in the written report for March 5,
34 2024. A copy of the written report for March 5, 2024, is attached hereto and
35 incorporated herein as Exhibit"A."

36 SECTION 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage.

On January 5, 2021, Commission approved the Vendor Service Agreement for the Solution Provider Services and Software
Maintenance and Support of Laserfiche, the City's Enterprise Content Management System with Information Consultants,
Inc.of Miami, Florida.The Agreement allows for an initial (1)year period with four(4)one-year renewal periods.The vendor
has agreed to renew the Agreement for the 3rd one-year renewal term with the same prices, terms, and conditions.
