A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL O.F THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, VACATING
AND ABANDONING A PORTION OF A PLATTED ROAD
RIGHT-OF-WAY MORE COMMONLY KNOWN AS CORDOVA
WAY, SAID PROPERTY BEING MORE PARTICULARLY
DESCRIBED HEREIN; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A DISCLAIMER FOR SAID
RIGHT-OF-WAY; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

WHEREAS, John Pagliarulo, as owner of certain property
located within the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, has requested
the abandonment of the hereinafter described right-of-way; and
WHEREAS, comments have been solicited from the appropria
City Departments; and
WHEREAS, public hearings have been held before the
City's Planning and Zoning Board and the City Council on the
proposed abandonment; and
WHEREAS, based on the foregoing information that :said
right-of-way no longer serves any useful purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, TtIAT:
Section 1: The City of Boynton Beach, Florida, by
and through its City Council, does hereby vacate and abandon
for right-of-way purposes a piece of real property located in
the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, to-wit:
That part of the right-of-way for
Cordova Way located between Blocks 15
and 16, LAKE BOYNTON ESTATES-PLAT 1,
according to the plat thereof recorded
in Plat Book 13, page 32, of the Public
Records of Palm Beach County, Florida,
more particularly described as follows:
Begin at the southwest corner of Lot 13,
Block 16; thence north alon~ the west
line of said Lot 13 a distance of 115
feet; thence west along the westerly
extension of the north line of said Lot
13 a distance of 50 feet to the northeast
corner of Lot 16, Block 15; thence south
along the east line of Lots 17,16,15 and
14, Block 15, a distance of 115 feet to
a point on the southeast corner of Lot 14,
Block 15; thence east a distance of 50
feet along the easterly extension of the
south line of said Lot 14, Block 15, to

Section 2: The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to execute and deliver the attached
Disclaimer and cause the same to be filed in the Public Records
of Palm Beach County, Florida.
Section 3: This Resolution shall take effect
immediately upon passage.
