3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
4 APPROVING A PURCHASE ORDER WITH BLUEALLY FOR THE PURCHASE
5 OF SERVER EQUIPMENT AND SOFTWARE FOR AN AMOUNT NOT TO
6 EXCEED $135,000; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR ALL
7 OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, to ensure the security and stability of their virtual environment, the Utilities
11 Department must promptly acquire a new and robust virtual infrastructure solution, so they
12 can maintain data integrity, protect against potential cyber threats, and meet their operational
13 requirements effectively; and
14 WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, upon the
15 recommendation of staff, deems it in the best interest of the citizens and residents of the City
16 of Boynton Beach to approve a Purchase Order with BIueAlly for an amount not to exceed
17 $135,000, at prices based on the Omnia Contract #R200803 for the purchase of server
18 equipment and software.
19 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
20 BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
21 SECTION 1. The foregoing "Whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed as
22 being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution upon adoption
23 hereof.
24 SECTION 2. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach hereby approves the
25 Purchase Order for an amount not to exceed $135,000, at prices based on the Omnia Contract
26 #R200803 for the purchase of server equipment and software.
27 SECTION 3. This Resolution shall take effect as provided by law.
