3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
4 APPROVING A PURCHASE ORDER FOR THE PURCHASE OF COMPUTER
5 EQUIPMENT, PERIPHERALS, AND RELATED SERVICES IN AN AMOUNT
6 NOT TO EXCEED $92,000; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND
7 FOR ALL OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, in order to maintain an up-to-date computing environment that meets
11 current needs, the ITS Department has implemented a computer replacement program
12 through the Capital Improvement Budget, which aims to replace computers that are at least 4
13 years old or no longer meet the minimum technical requirements for staff workload; and
14 WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, upon the
15 recommendation of staff, deems it in the best interest of the citizens and residents of the City
16 of Boynton Beach to approve a Purchase Order for an amount not to exceed $92,000, at prices
17 based on the State of Florida Alternate Contract Sources No. 43210000-23-NASPO-ACS for
18 Computer Equipment, Peripherals, and Related Services.
19 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
20 BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
21 SECTION 1. The foregoing "Whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed as
22 being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution upon adoption
23 hereof.
24 SECTION 2. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach hereby approves the
25 Purchase Order for an amount not to exceed $92,000, at prices based on the State of Florida
26 Alternate Contract Sources No. 43210000-23-NASPO-ACS for Computer Equipment,
27 Peripherals, and Related Services.
28 SECTION 3. This Resolution shall take effect as provided by law.
