RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
FLORIDA, ADOPTING A TENTATIVE BUDGET FOR
THE FISCAL YEAR 1984-1985; ADOPTING A
PROPOSED AGGREGATE MILLAGE RATE FOR THE
FISCAL YEAR 1984-1985; INSTRUCTING
PUBLICATION OF A NOTICE OF FINAL HEARING
FOR ADOPTION OF BUDGET AND SETTING A
HEARING DATE FOR THE FINAL ADOPTION OF
BUDGET.
WHEREAS, the City of Boynton Beach has received a
certification of value of property within its jurisdiction
from the Property Appraiser in accordance with Florida
Statutes 200,065; and
WHEREAS, the City of Boynton Beach has computed
a rolled back millage rate as required by Florida Statutes
200.065; and
WHEREAS, a proposed tentative budget and proposed
aggregate millage rate has been presented to the City
Council and public hearing have been held thereon; and
WHEREAS, the Property Appraiser has been notified
of the proposed tentative budget and aggregate millage rate;
and
WHEREAS, the Property Appraiser has given notice as
required by Statutes of the public hearing on the proposed
budget and aggregate millage rate; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the CitY of Boynton
Beach has held a hearing on proposed tentative budget and
proposed aggregate'millage rate as required by Statute; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is required by Florida
Statutes to adopt a tentative budget and proposed aggregate
millage rate prior to the conclusion of the hearing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Exhibit "A" attached hereto
and made a part hereof by reference is hereby adopted as
the Amended Tentative Budget of the City of Boynton Beach,
Florida.

Section 2. That the Proposed Tentative Aggregate
Millage Rate for the 1984/85 Fiscal Year shall be
(~.~Q for the General Fund and ,Q~-for the Publicity
Fund), plus ,~/ for Voted Debt Service for a total
Proposed Tentative Millage Levy of ~.~/~ for the 1984/85
Fiscal Year.
Section 3. That said Millage Rate exceeds the com-
puted rolled back rate by /~ per cent.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby
instructed to advertise a Notice of Hearing of the Final
Adoption of the Budget in accordance with Florida Statutes
200.065. That the said advertisement shall be in a newspaper
of general circulation two to five days prior to the hearing
date as outlined in Section 5 of this Resolution.
Section 5. That a Public Hearing and Final
Adoption of the Final Aggregate Millage Rate and Budget
shall occur on the 24th day of September, 1984, at 7:30 p.m.
in the City Council Chambers of the City of Boynton Beach,
Florida.
