A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, CORRECTING A
SCRIVENER'S ERROR IN THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP
TO BE CONSISTENT WITH THE CORRECT BOUNDARY
OF THE SOUTHEAST AREA OF THE CITY; AUTHORIZING
AND DIRECTING THE CITY PLANNER TO MAKE THE
NECESSARY CORRECTIONS ON THE OFFICIAL ZONING
MAP; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, an error exists in the Official Zoning Map of
the City of Boynton Beach as a result of a scrivener's error as to
the correct City boundary in the southeast area of the City; and
WHEREAS, the Official Zoning Map presently shows the
following lots contained in the amended plat of Trade Winds
Estates as being within the City boundary: Lots 39,43, the
west 231 feet of Lots 53 and 53-A, and Lot 57; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to correct the
scrivener's error in the Official Zoning Map to reflect the proper
boundary of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1: The Official Zoning Map of the City be and
hereby is corrected to show the proper boundary of the City in
the southeast area so that Lots 39,43, the west 231 feet of Lots
53 and 53-A, and Lot 57 of Trade Winds Estates are not within
the City limits.
Section 2: The City Planner is hereby authorized and
directed to correct the scrivener's error in the Official Zoning
Map to effectuate the changes as specified in Section 1 hereof.
Section 3: This Resolution shall take effect
immediately upon passage.
