REPEALING ~iLL ORDINANCES OP PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT ~WITH, AND PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR VIOLATION HEREOF. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY CO?~MISSION OF THE CiTY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: . ectzon i: I~ Shall be lawful for streets, roads and avenues bmil~ as public roadways to be constructed as hereinafter se± forth in addition tospecifications' ' ' as set forth ~n' Orclinance' #264. ' ' (a)~ It shall be lawful to use local shell rock as road base provided that the said shell rock meets specifications of Superintendent of Public WOrks or his assistant, and that such roads so constructed-shall have a thickness Of 8 inches after having been compacted by not less than 8~ton roller, said shell rock base shall be a minimum width of 22 fee~ with a minimum thickness of 1 inch plant asphalt mix surface, said asphalt surface to be a~min£mnm of 20 feet in width. It shall be reGuired that the shoulder extending ! foot on eadh side of the plant mix surface shall be oiled and sand sealed. Section 2. Penaltzes.' Any violation by any person firm. or corporation vzola~zng any of the provisions, sections or sub-sections of this ordinance shall, upon convictiOn be punished by a fine of not less than $5.00 nor more than $5000.00 or by imprisonment for a period not to exceed 90 days, or both such fine and imprisonment. ec~on 8. Ordinances rePealed. All ordinances or pa~ts of ordinances inconsistent or in conflict herewith are hereby repealed insofar as there is conflict. Firs~ reading this 19th day of March,. 1956.
