That the following Budget, setting forth the items of
GENERAL EXPENSE A~U) OF INTEREST REQUIREMENTS uoon the outstanding
indebtedness of the City of Boynton Beach~ F!ori~a, be and the
same hereby is adopted as the Budget of the City of Boynton Beach~
Palm Beach County, Florida, for the Fiscal Year beginning November
1955, and ending October 31, 19~o

1. That there be, and there hereby is, levied upon all of the
taxable property, both real and personal, within the City of Boynton
Beach~ Palm Beach County, Florida, A GENERAL TAX to provide for the
GEh-ERAL E~?ENSES of said City as provided in the Budget Items herein-
before set forth, to-wit: A tax sufficient to produce the sum of
EIGHTY-TWO THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED SIXTY ($82 ,$60'. 00) DOLLARS.
2o That there be, and there hereby is, levied upon all of the
taxable property, both real and personal, within the City of Boyntor~
Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida, A SPECIAL TAX to provide for the pay-
ment of iNTEREST ONOUTSTAh~)II~G? INDEBTEDNESS as hereinbefore set forth,
to-wit: A tax sufficient to oroduce the sum of TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND
($25,000.00) DOLLARS o
~ That lhe~e be, and there hereby is, levied upon all of the
taxable property, both real and personal, within the City of Boynton.
Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida, A SPECIAL TAX to provide for CITY'
PUBLICITY as hereinbefore set forth, to-wit: A tax sufficient to pro-
duce the sum of T~LREE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED ($3,200.00) DOLLARS.
4. That said taxes hereinbefore referred to in Paragraoh
1~ be and' the same are~ apportioned to and levied against all of the
City of Boynton Beach~ ?alm Beach County~ Fiorida~ in proportion to
the assessed valuation of such ~mroperties as are not exempt from tax-
ation by reason of the Homestead Amendment. The valuation of all
taxable property~ both real and personal upon which such taxes may be
leviedr situated within the Corporate Limits of the City of Boynton
Beach~ Palm Beach Countyr Florida~ for the taxable year 195!+ as sho~n
by the Tax Assessment Roll of the said City of Boynton Beach~ being
hereby fixed at FOD~ MILLION FOD~R HUNDRED THIRTY-SIX THOUSA[O EIGHT
HUNDRED EIGHTY-FOUR !($4~$36,884,00) DOLL~RS.
~. That said ta~es hereinbefore referred to in Paragraphs
2 and 3~ be and the same hereby arer apportione~ to an~ levied against
all taxable property~ both real and personal~ within the Coroorste
Limits of the City of Boynto~ Beach~ Palm Beach County~ Florida~ in
proportion to the assessed valuation of such property. The valuation
of all t~xab!e property~ both re~l and oersonal~ situated within the
Coroorate Limits of the City of Boynton Beachr Palm Beach Countyr
Florida~ for the taxable year 1954~ as shown by the Tax Assessment
Roll of said City of Boynton Beach~ being hereby fixed at SEVEN MILLION
TWO HUNDRED FIFTY-FIVE THOUSA~ NINE HU~RED SIXTT-NI~ ($7~2~969~00)
DOLLARS.
6. That said taxes, hereinbefore referred tor in Paragraphs
Ir 2 and 3r be extended u-oon the Tax Books of the City of Boynton
Besch~ P~Im Beach County~ Florida, in the proper millage proportionate
to the valuation thereof as returned by the Tax Assessor~ that is that
the millage thereof be as follows~ to-wit:
FOR GENERAL EXPENSE
20.00 mills
FOR INTEREST ON OUTSTA~DING BONDS
6.00 mills
FOR CITY PUBLICITY .50 mills
BE IT FURTHER 0RDAI~D: That the above ~nd foregoing Ordinance' is an
Ordinance providing a Budget and fixing a tax rate or making a tax
levy for the General Expense and Interest Requirements and City Pub--
iicity of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida~ for the fiscal year be-
ginning November Ir 1914~ and ending October 31~ 19~[.
EFFECTIVE DATE: This Ordinance shall become effective in
accordance with the provisions of the Charter of said City in such
cases made and provided.
