METROPOLITAN PLANNING ORGANIZATION OF
PALM BEACH COUNTY INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT
AMENDMENT NO. 1.
NOW~ THEREFORE, BE AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY O~ BOYNTON BEACHt FLORIDA.
Section 1o That the Mayor and City Clerk are
hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the
City of Boynton Beach~ Plorida, Amendment No. 1~ attached~
to the Metropolitan Planning Organization of Palm Beach
County interloca! Agreement°

PJtTON, CITY OF DRY.RAY BEACH, CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, CITY OF LAKE WORTH,
CITY OF R/VIERA BEACH, FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, CITY OF
JUPITER, and CITY OF PAI~4 BEACH GARDENS modifies the original Interlocal
Agreement, executed by the original parties on December 21, 1979, to
include the Cities of Jupiter, Palm Beach Gardens and include an
additional member from Boca Raton to the Metropolitan Planning
Organization of Palm Beach County, hereinafter called the MPO;
WITNESSETH:
In consideration of the mutual benefits to flow herein one to the
other, the parties agree as follows:
1. The original parties to the Interlocal Agreement creating
and establishing the ~.~0, Palm Beach County,-City of West Palm
Beach, City of Boca Raton, City of Delray Beach, City of Boynton
Beach, City of Lake Worth, City of Riviera Beach and Florida
Department of Transportation will accept the City of Jupiter and
the City of Palm Beach Gardens as parbies to the Interlocal
Agreement add the MPO With all the rights, duties, privileges and
~-~nities of the e~:isti~g parties.
2. The original parties to the Interlocal Agreement accept an
additional member to the ~PO from the City of Boca Raton.
3. The City of Jupiter and the City of Palm Beach Gardens accep~z
all terms and conditions of the existing Intertoca! Agreement, a
copy of which is attached hereto and by this reference made a
part hereof, and all contracts, benefits, obligations and
resolutions of the contractLng parties and the ~O in effect on
the date of this Agreen~z~t.

"The Board of County Commissioners of Palm Beach County
shall be represented by five (5) members, the Cities of West
Palm Beach and Boca Raton shall be presented by ~o (2)
members and the Cities of Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, Lake
Worth, Riviera Beach, Jupiter and Palm Beach Gardens shall ke
presented by one (1) member each. The aforementioned membem's
shall be appointed by and serve at the pleasure~ of their
respective goverr~ent entities. In addition, t~here shall he
two (2) non-voting members of the ~PO from the Department,
consisting of (1) the ~a~ Director of the Division of
Transportation Planning and the District 4 Engineer, both of
whc~a s~hall be designated by and serve at the pleasure of tb.e
Department."
