82-PPPA RESOLUTIOI~ OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, AUT}IORIZING THE
CITY TREASURER TO TRANSMIT FUNDS TO THE STATE
BOARD OF ADMINISTRATION FOR INVESTMEAZ~ AND TO
WITHDRAW SAID FUNDS UPON GIVING TIMELY NOTICE
AND CONFIRMATION BY LETTER; REMAINING IN EFFECT
UNTIL REVOKED BY THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, from time
to time has funds on hand in excess of current needs; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of
Boynton Beach, Florida and its inhabitants that funds 'be invested
to return the highest yield consistent with proper safeguards,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE AATD IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the City Treasurer ~be and she is here'by
authorized to transmit such funds to the State Board of Administra-
tion to be invested according to applicable laws of the State of
Florida, consistent with the needs of the City of Boynton Beach,
Florida. Such authorization includes authority to withdraw funds
from the State Board of Administration by giving timely notice and
confirmation by letter.
Section 2. That this authorization shall 'be continuing
in nature until revoked by the City Council of the City of Boynton
Beach, Florida.
Section 3. The City Clerk is directed to furnish a
certified copy of this Resolution GO the State B6ard-of Administra
tion.
Section 4. This Resolution shall take effect immediate-
ly upon its passage.
