82-DDDRESOLUTION NO. 82- A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, DESIGNATING THE APPROPRIATE OFFICIALS TO BE AUTHORIZED AND EMPOWERED TO SIGN AND ISSUE CHECKS, ET CETERA AS OUTLINED HEREIN, FOR THE MUNICIPAL POLICE RETIREMENT FUND OF THE CITY, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER 185 OF THE FLORIDA STATUTES; PRO- VIDING A REPEAL CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, WALTER NLARTY TRAUGER is duly elected and acting Hayor of the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, and is thereby, pursuant to the provisiens of Chapter 185 of the Florida Statutes, CHAIRMAN of the BOARD OF TRUSTEES of the HUNICIPAL POLICE RETIREMENT FUND of the City of Boynton Beach; and WHEREAS, WILLIAM R~ HAMILTONj pursuant to the previsions of Chapter 185 of the Florida Statutes, is the duly elected, and acting SECRETARY of the BOARD OF TRUSTEES of the MUNICIPAL POLICE RETIREMENT FUND of the City of Boynton Beach; and WHEREAS, IT IS DEEMED advisable to officmalty designate the above described officials to their respective pesitions and to empower them to execute the duties and powers set forth in said legislation; NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Ceuncil of the CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA: 1. That WALTER MARTY TRAUGER and WILLIAM R. HAMILTON, as Chairman and Secretary respectively of the Board of Trustees of the Municipal Police Retirement Fund of the City of Beynton Beach, Florida, be and they are hereby authorized and empowered to sign and issue checks, drafts, withdrawal veuchers or other instruments necessary to negotiate funds constituting a part of the Municipal Police Retirement Fund of said City, now on deposit in the Flagship First National Bank of Boynton Beach, First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Broward County. or any other authorized depository hereafter designated for the handling of such funds, and the above members of said Board are further authorized to perform any and all other business and execute any and all instruments relative to sa~d Fund, in accordance with their duties as more particularly established in Chapter 185 of the Florida Statutes. Ail previous Resolutions of the City pertaining to authority to sign and execute checks, vouchers, or other instru- ments on the fore-described Trust Fund are hereby rescinded. 1982. 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately.
