A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
FLORIDA, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO.-75-W,
RELATIVE TO AMENDING WATER RATES, PROVIDING
FOR REPEALING PROVISIONS AND AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Boynton Beach,
Florida, by Resolution No. ~175-W has heretofore established water
rates, water meter connection charges, charges ~or meter deposits
and other charges relative thereto; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of said City deems it necessary
and equitable to make limited adjustments in the water rates;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE AND IT IS RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT THE SCHEDULE OF WATER
RATES ADOPTED IN RESOLUTION NO. 75-W, BE AMENDED AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 1 (a) of Resolution No. 75-W be amendl
to exempt "a residential facility where a master meter of over
two inches (2") serves several buildings through a private dis-
tribution system of piping and where the City does not maintain
the private distribution system of piping on'the effluent side
of the meter."
Section 2. Amend Resolution No. 75-W by adding Section 1
(c) to read as follows:
Section 1. (c) A residential facility, where a
master meter of over two inches (2") serves several buildings
through a private distribution system of pipes, and where the
City does not maintain the private distribution system of piping
on the effluent side of the meter.
Section 3. Amend Resolution No. '75-W by making the
l'~istin'~i Section 2, Section 2 (a) and adding Section 2 (b) ~
~ndii~21(c) to~read as follows:
Section 2. (b) Water rates for those residential
areas defined in Section 1 (c), will be $0.70 per 1,000 gallons,
as recorded on the master meter.
Section 2. (c) Residential areas defined in Section
1 (c) will be charged a water meter maintenance fee of:
$100.00 for a 6"' Meter
$ 75.00 for a 4" Meter
$ 50.00 ~or a 2" Meter
Section 4. The rates herein stated shall be in effect
beginning the 3rd day o~ August, 1982.
