81-BBBBR ,SOLUTIO 81- BS8 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING PRICES FOR CEMETERY LOTS AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. WHER~S, Section 6-11 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, pertaining to cemeteries within said municipality, provides that the City Council shall from time to time, by resolution, fix the prices to be charged for the sale of cemetery lots and for other purposes; and WHEREAS, the Cemetery Board of the City of Boynton Beach, has heretofore forwarded its recommendations to the City Council relative alteration of said existing rates because of the increase in costs for operation of the cemetery; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA: Section 1: The following prices are hereby established for the sale of individual burial plots: Ao Sara Simms Memorial Gardens (1) $75.00 per lot - resident rate and/or those owning real property within the City (2) $125.00 per lot - non-resident rate and/or non-property owners (3) $ 37.50 Infant plots (up to 4 years) B. Boynton Beach Memorial Park and Boynton Beach Memorial Park, Addition No. 1 (1) $225.00 per lot - resident rate and/or those owning real property within the City (2) $400.00 per lot - non-resident rate and/or non-property owners (3) $ 37.50 Infant plots (up to 4 years) Section 2: The following rates, fees and additional charges are hereby established for both municipally owned cemeteries: A. Use of Equipment (all or any part) B. Opening and Closing (1) Infant Plot (2) For Cremains (3) Weekdays - 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. (4) Saturday - 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon (5) Saturday after 12:00 Noon, Sundays and Holidays C. Disinterment (1) $100.00 - per body (2) $ 25.00 - cremains D. Deed Transfer - $20.00 $ 50.00 10.00 25.OO 75.OO $100.00 $150.00 Section 3: Ail other charges and procedures presently existing relative to the operation of municipally owned cemeteries within said City shall remain as now established. Section 4: This Resolution shall become effectmve as of October 20, 1981; any applicants for the lots presently on file will be able to purchase the lots at the existing rates.
