A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYI~TON BEACH,
FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING AN APPLICATION TO THE
DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AFFAIRS, OFFICE OF
COMMUNITY SERVICES FOR FUNDS AVAILABLE TO
LOCAL GOVERNMENTS THROUGH THE FLORIDA FI~?AN-
CIAL ASSISTANCE FOR COMMUNITY SERVICES ACT
OF 1974 FOR DEMONSTRATION AND: RESEARCH PROJECTS;
FO~ THE PURPOSE OF DEVELOPING TELECOMMUNICATION
SYSTEMS FOR COMMUNICATIVELY' IMPAIRED.
WHEREBS, the City Council of the City of Boynton Beach,
deems it desirable for the City of Boynton Beach to submit an
application to the Department of Community Affairs, Office of
Community Services for funds available to Local Governments through
the Florida Financial Assistance for Community Services Act of 197~
for demonstration end research projects; and
WHEREAS, such funds will be used to implement ~ reis-
communication device for handicapped persons.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUbICIL OF
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to
~xecute the grant application requesting $595.00.
