A RESOLUTION OF TEE CITY COUNCIL OF TEE CITY
OF BOYNTON BEACE, FLORIDA, ACCEPTING TEE
GRANT OFFER FROM THE UNITED STATES ENVIRONMENTAL
PROTECTION AGENCY
WHEREAS, the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, proposes
to construct regional treatment, disposal system transmission
facilities for abatement of pollution; and
W1TEREAS, it was deemed necessary and advisable to seek
federal assistance for such construction in the form of a grant
under Public Law 92-500, Construction Grants
Protection Agency Project Number C-!20496070;
WHEREAS, the United States Environmental
Program, Environmenta
and
Protection
Agency approved a Federal Grant for the City of Boynton Beach to
design plans and specifications for San Castle Pumping Station
Modifications to P.S. !8-A and Force
IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
and Force Main to P.S. RG-1,
Main 18-A, on April 9t 1981.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the City of Boynton Beach hereby
accepts the grant offer !n the amount of $18,422.00 from the
United States Environmental Protection Aqency, and thereby
satisfies the requirements of PL 92-500, as well as any rules and
regulations promulgated thereunder.
Section 2. That Peter L. Cheney, City Manager, be and
he is hereby authorized and directed to furnish such information
as the United States Environmental Protection Agency may
reasonably request in connection with the grant offer.
