WqtEREAS, the Building Official of the City of Boynton Beach,
Florida. actin~ for and in behalf of the City, has pursuant to
t~e City Charter and Chapter 5 of the Code of the City of Boynton
Beach. found and determined that conditions of certain buildings
or .s~ctures within the City hereinafter described, violates
C~%er 5 and the City Charter by r~ason of being structurally
~.~ezous, dilapidated: unfit~ unsanitary or unsafe and imperils
~- ~.ealth., safety, welfare and morals of the occupants thereof
~s well as the surrounding areas and are detrimental to the pro-
perry a~d detrimental to the health, life and general welfare of
tte residents ~f this City; and
'~{rfLEREAS, the respective owners, mortgagees an~ other parties
in i~terest of thus structure hereinafter described were duly
Dotified in accordance with Section 5-10 of the City Code of the
existemce of 'the aforesaid dangerous and hazardous condition of
t~eir property, and were thereby required to repair Or demolish
the property hereinafter described; and

WR~REAS, by ~ low bid contract between the City and certain
wrecking compeny, said company demolished and removed the danger-t
ous structure for the agreed sums as outlined hereinafter; and
~ULEREAS. a~~ter inspecting the premises, the City paid the
c~erges under said contract, a nd the C~ty-- Msnece~ recommends thatl
this cosE be assessed against the property and municipal liens
be Tecorde~ in the Public Records of Palm Beach County, Florida.
WHEREAS, the City is empowered to abate all nuisances within
the City at the expense of the owner, occupant or person causing
the same to be in violation of the interest-of public safety,
health and welfare.
NOW, THEREFORE, be and it is hereby resolved by the City
Council of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida;
Section 1. That all costs hereinafter described incurred by
the City in the necessary procedures entailed in the demolition
and removal of the hereinafter described dangerous, dilapidated,
unfit, unsanitary and unsafe building or structure, are propertie~
from the parcels of land, owned and indicated to wit:

Subject amount is hereby assessed as liens a~ainst said parcels, o4
land as indicated, said liens as to said parcels of tend shall be
of equal dignity with the taxes therefrom for the year ./~/ and
shall be enforced and collected in like manner pursuant to
applicable provisions of law.
Section 2. That municipal liens for

County, Florida, at the rate of ten (10%) per cent per annum for
each individual and fifteen (15%1 per cent per annum for corporat,

Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to notify
by certified mail, the owners and other~n~wn~.parties in interest,
of the assessment liens and request payment of the same.
