FACILITIES FOR REGIONAL POLLUTION CONTROL,

C-120496020, REQUESTING Ai~iEPA GRANT INCREASE,
AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER
TO-EXECUTE ANY AND ALL DOCUMENTS PERTAINING
THERETO.
WHEREAS, On..Septenf0er 23, 1980, the City rece'ived bid
proposals for the construction of Regional Lift Stations and Force
Mains, Section II, Parts A and B; and
WHEREAS, four (4) r~sponsive bids were received for Part
A, Lift Stations and twelve (12) responsive bids were received for
Part B, Force Mains; and
WHEREAS, the apparent low bids were as follows:
Part A - Lift Stations:
Boyle Construction Co., Inc. $1,384,000.00
Part B - Force Mains:
Southeast Underground Const., Inc. 885,865.00
TOTAL BID $2,269,865.00
WHEREAS, the City of Boynton Beach is desirous of
awarding the bids to Boyle Construction Co., Inc. and Southeast
Underground Construction, Inc. subject to the necessary approval
from the State of Florida Department of Environmental Regulation
and the United States Environmental Protection Agency, including
a necessary grant increase to the offer tendered April 15, 1980
for captioned project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the award of Section II - Part A - Lift
Stations and Section II - Part B - Force Mains, EPA Project No.
C-120496020, of the Wsstewater Facilities for the Regional
Pollution Control, is made to Boyle Construction Co., Inc. for
Section II - Part A, and to Southeast Underground Construction,
Inc. for Section II - Part B in the total amount of $2,269,865.00,
subject to recepit of approval from the State of Florids Departmen~
of Environmental Regulation and the United States Environmental
Protection Agency including the necessary grant increase.
Section 2. That the City Manager be and is hereby
authorized and directed to execute any and all documents pertainin¢
thereto, and to furnish such information as the Agencies may
reasonably request in connection with the grant increase.
