REQUESTING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FROM THE LOC~L

has recognized a need to provide for orderly
management as contemplated by the passage of
Government Comprehensive Planning Act, and
WEB.AS, the State of Florida has recognized a need to
assist local govermments in meeting the requirements of the
Act. and
WHEREAS, the Florida Legislature has charged the
Department of Come. unity Affairs with admLnmstering the Local
Governmenn Comprehensive Planning Assistance Program.
NOW THErEFOr. the City Council of the Ciny of Boynton
Beach requests the Department of Community Affairs to include
the City of Boynton Beach's application among those requesting
financial assmstance from the Local Government Comprehensive
Planning Act Assistance Fun~ Program for the 1980-19~1 program
year.
