80-VRESOLUTION NO. ~-~
WHER_EAS, the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, has passed a
number of resolutions requesting demolition of certain properties
within the City and in these resolutions has requested that the
Board of County Commissioners of Palm Beach County, Florida in-
stitute necessary steps for the demolition and removal of unsafe
structures and impose liens against those parcels; and
K~EREAS, said resolutions have been filed in the Public
Records of Palm Beach County; and
WHEtLEAS, the question has arisen as to whether such re-
corded resolutions would constitute liens against the property; an
WHEREAS, it is the duty of the Board of County Commis-
sions of Palm Beach County, Florida, to institute the lien procedu'
where county funds have been used; and
WHEREAS, communication has been received from the Palm
Beach County Community Development Office that where Community
Development funds are used, that they do not wish to impose liens
upon the properties in question;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA.
Section t. That the City Council of the City of Boynton
Beach, Florida, declares that the following resolutions recorded
in the Official Record Books of Palm Beach County, Florida, in no
way constitute a lien against those properties which are listed in
said resolutions. The resolutions affected are Number 77-EE,
recorded in O.R. Book 2684, Pages 1241-1245; Number 77-HH, recorde
in O.R. Book 2713, Pages 12-14; Number 77-F~_, recorded in O.R.
Book 2727, Pages 121-123; Number 77-QQ, recorded in O.R. Book
2724, Pages 1476-1478; Number 77-WW; recorded in O.R. Book 2741,
Pages 1841-1846; Number 77-EEE, recorded in O.R. Book 2774, Pages
892-894; Number 77-000, recorded in O.R. Book 2793, Pages 1017-
1019; Number 78-G, recorded in O.R. Book 2816, Pages 718-720;
Number 78-R, recorded in O.R. Book 2830, Pages 344-346; Number
78-JJ, recorded in 0.R. Book 2908, Pages 1182-1185 and Number
78-MM, recorded in O.R. Book 2917, Pages 1594-1596.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby instructed to
file a copy of this Resolution in the Official Records of Palm
Beach County along with the attached list of descriptions of pro-
perties which were affected by the resolutions enumerated in
Section 1. Said attached list shall
present resolution.
