A RESOLUTION OPTPIE CITY OF BOI~NTON B~ACH, FLORIDA,
DESIGNATING AUTHORIZED INDIVIDUALS TO PREPARE, SIGN
A~ND COUNTERSIGN CHECKS, VOUCHERS AND WITHDRAWAL SLIPS
DRAWN ON CITY ~EPOSITORIES.
WHERF~S, t~ charter of the City of Boynton Beach,
Florida, provides that the City Treasurer shall prepare all checks
vouchers and withdrawal
and shall sign the same
slips to be drawn on the City depositories
and present said checks, vouchers and
withdrawals to the Mayor or Vice Mayor to be countersigned as
provided herein or by ordinance of the city Council~ and
W~EREAS, the City Council in regular session of ABgust 7
1961, did duly pass an ordinance that. the City Manager shall be
authorized to countersign all checks, vouchers and withdrawal
and
PETER L. CHENEY is duly appointed City Manager;
slips of t-he City;
WHEREAS,
and
W~EREAS,
BETTY RISCOE is the duly elected Mayor and
shall szgn checks, vouchers and withdrawal slips in the absence o
the City Manager; and
WHEREAS, EDWARD L. HARMENING~ Vice Mayor, has been
appointe~ to sign checks, vouchers and withdrawal slips in the
absence of the Mayor and the City Manager; and
WHEREAS, GRADY W. SWANN has been appointed as City
Finance Director and authorized to countersign checks, vouchers
and withdrawal slips of the City; and i
WHEREAS, B.J. ZOBEL is the duly appointed Treasurer; and
WHERE~S, ALMA COOK, Deputy Treasurer, has been appointed!
to prepare and sign checks, vouchers and withdrawal slips in the
absence of the Treasurer~
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that a true copy of this
Resolution be sene to all Federal Savings and Loan Associations,
commercial banks or other depositories wherein the
Beach maintains municipal savings accounts,
other deposits.
