78-RR, THE 1978-1979 CITY PAY PLAN BY ESTABLISH-

REPEALF~R cLAUsE', PROV~P~.A SAVINGS CLAUSE;
WHEREAS, the position of Mmmicipal Finance Director was created by
Resolution No. 79-F of the City Council, City of Boynton Beach, Florida,
without establishing a pay classification for said position; and
WItEREAS, the Municipal PersOnnel Director and the City Manager have
recommended that a pay .grade of thirty-eight (38) be established for the
position of ~T~icipal FinanCe Di=ector; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that a pay grade cf tI~ccty-
eight (38) is appropriate for the position of ~v~nicipal Finance Director; and
WI~REAS, the pay plan established by Resolution No. 78-RR does not in-
clude the position of Municipal Finance Director, or a pay grade for said
position.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE BAND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COb~CIL OF THE CIIY
OF BOYI~fON BEA(iq, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That a pay grade of thirty-eight (38) be established
for the position of I~micipal Finance Director and that Resolution No. 78-
RR, establishing a pay plan for the City of Boynton Beach for 1978-1979 be
accordingly amended to provide for the position of Plmicipal Finance Director
at the above pay grade.
Section 2. That all Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in con-
flict herewith, be and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 3. That should any section or p=ovision of this Resolution,
or part ~ereof, be declared by a Court of competent jurisdiction to be in-
valid, .such decision shall not e~fect the validity of the remainder of the
Resolution.
