A RESOLUTION OF TItE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE CHANGE
ORDER NO. 1 TO THE EAST WATER TREATMENT
PLANT, PHASE m, PARKING LOT CONSTRUCTION
PROJECT WITH MEGAN SOUTH, INC., IN THE AMOUNT
OF $10,079, WITH A TIME EXTENSION OF 5 CALENDAR
DAYS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, this change order consists of an expansion of the scope of the project
md is not a change in existing design documents, and consists of the construction of 54 new
tsphalt paved parking spaces on an existing shellrock area, including drainage krrigation and
landscaping; and
',VItEREAS, the City Commission, upon staff's recommendation, has deemed it
appropriate, and in the best interests of the public, to approve Change Orderl to the East
Water Treatment Plant, Phase 11I, Parking Lot Construction project with Megan South, Inc.,
in the mount of $10,079, with a time extension of 5 calendar days;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
rile CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida does
hereby authorize and direct the Mayor and City Clerk to approve and execute Change Order
No. 1 with Megan South, Inc., in the amount of $10,079, with a time extension of 5 calendar
days, for the East Water Treatment Plant, Phase llI Parking Lot Construction project.
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage.
