A RESOLUTION OF TIlE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A SPECIAL
WARRANTY'DEED CONVEYING PROPERTY TO
HABiTAT FOR HUMANITY, _~N-D PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WttEREAS, Habitat for Humanity has qualified an applicant to build a
single-family home located on this property, which dwelling will bc added to a
neighborhood located within the City's redevelopment target area; and
WtIEREAS, the construction of single-family housing i2 existing
subdivisions throughout the City is encouraged for the purpose of community
revitalization and increased taxable value; and
V~tEREAS, the City Commission of thc City of Boynton Beach. based upon
ttaff recommendation, finds it to be in the best interests of the community and its
residents to convey the below-described property to HABITAT FOR HUMANITY,
for the purpose of constructing a single family home.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Flor/da
does hereby authorize and direct the Mayor and City Clerk to execute a Special
Warranty Deed conveying certain property, more particularly described herein. A
:opy of the Special Warranty Deeds are attached hereto and made a part hereof.
Section2. This Resolution will become effective immediately upon
passage.

BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, a municipal corporation, (hereinafter referred to as "Grantor")
and.HABITAT FOR HUMANITY, a, whose address is Palm Beach County, Florida (hereinafter
referred to as "Grantee").
WITNESETH:
That said Grantor, for and in consideration of the sum of TEN ($10.00) DOLLARS, and
other gOod and valuable considerations to Grantor in hand paid by Grantee, the receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged, has granted, bargained and sold to the Grantee, and Grantee's heirs and
assigns forever, the following described land, situate, lying and being in Palm Beach County,
Florida, to wit:
Lot 172, Block A, BOYNTON HILLS, as recorded in Plat Book 4,
Page 51, of the Public Records of Palm Beach County, Florida.
Grantor does hereby warrant title to the land, and will defend the same against the lawful
claims of all persons claiming by, through, or under the Grantor, but against'none other.
GRANTEE covenants that the real property conveyed by this instrument must be used to
benefit low and moderate income persons and/or families, as those terms are defined by the U.S.
Department of Housing and Urban Development and Palm Beach County, for a period of twenty

(20) years from the date hereof. In the event of a breach of this covenant, title shall revert to
GRANTOR.
