78-AAA WHEREAS, the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, has recently completed certain improvements to its municipal Boat- ramp Park at a total cost of $12,353.15; and WHEREAS, the City is entitled to reimbursement for said items from the Florida Department of Natural Resources Grant Program; NOW, TBEREFOREt BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA: Section 1: Formal approval is hersby given for the work performed and facilities constructed in connection with the above project, and the inventory of ~aid work and costs incurred in connection therewith is accurate and that said project has been satisfactorily completed in accordance with plans described in application For funding, and formal request is hereby made to the Florida Department of Natural Resources for reimbursement for municipal funds advanced in connection with this project in the amount of $12~353.15 under said Department's Grant Pro- g ram. Kohl: This is to inform you that the Department of Natural Resources has approved Boynton Beach's request for boating improvement funds for construction of boat ramps. Copies of the agreement between the Department of Natural Resources and the County will be forwarded to you after they are executed. County Adminlstm~or John C. The project must commence on or before November 2, 1978, and be completed on or before November 2, 1979. A six months progress report should be sen~ to this office, and will be forwarded to DNR. (The contract states progress reports must be submitted every two months, but DNR has changed the requirement to every six months). Accounting procedures must be complied with, as follows: When the funds are received, they are held by the County until the project is complete. At that time you should forward to this office~ copies of the items listed. If contracted, send the billings and checks issued. If labor is performed in-house, then send evidence of types, amounts, and costs of materials as well as daily work schedules and labor costs. All items must be signed. A complete inventory of work performed and/ or facilities constructed, as well as a statement of. project completion date. 4. ~ resolution from your Council stating that the inventory is accurate and that the project was satisfactorily completed according to the plans described in the application for funding. Upon receipt of the above items, this office will process reimbursement up to $12,500 through Comptroller Icard's office. We will also process the final accounting to the Department of Natural Resources based on the above listed items.
