O93-34ORDINANCE NO. 093-J~ AN ORDINANCE OF THE CiTY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, ~ENDING CHAPTER 16. PARKS AND RECREATION, SECTION 16-82, PROVIDING FOR AN INCREASE IN FEES iN POLICY NO. 3, TEMPORARY PARKING PERMITS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, CODIFICATION AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Commission has deemed it necessary to restructure fees specifically related to temporary parking permits at the municipal beach property located within the Town of Ocean Ridge; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT: Section 1: That Chapter 16. Parks and Recreation, Section 16-82 shall be amended by adding the words and figures in underlined type and by deleting the words and figures in struck-through type, as follows: Sec. 16-82. Rules r regulations controlling parking of vehicles at municipal beach property located within the Town of Ocean Ridge. The City Manager is hereby directed to implement subject procedures at the earliest possible date. (Said regulations are set out below.) POLICY NO. 1. PARKING PERMITS POLICY NO 2. PROCEDURE FOR ISSUANCE OF PARKING PERMITS POLICY NO. 3. TEMPORARY PARKING PERMITS Temporary parking permits will be issued by the city in accordance with Policy Numbers 1 and 2. Residents: ... Qualified nonresidents: ... Visitors: Guests staying with residents shall be issued a temporary parking permit at a charge of ...... ~~ ~ na~ Ten and no/100 Dollars ($10.00). Such permits shall be valid for a maximum time period of four (4) consecutive weeks. Paying guests at hotels and motels shall be issued motel guest verification permits by the hotel or motel manager or his designee. Section 2: Ail ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Section 3: Should any section or provision of this Ordinance or any portion thereof be declared by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision shall not affect the remainder of this Ordinance.
