78-AA RESOLUTION NO. 78- ~
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Bbynton Beach
Florida has heretofore requested %he Board of County Commissioners
of Palm Beach County %o prQceed with proposed widening of Seacrest
Boulevard, Which is a County road, through ~he municipal limits
of the City; and
WHEREAS, said project is now proceeding; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is now of the opinion that
portions of said proposed widening project have a lower priormty
%hah certain areas of other County roadways within the municipal
limits.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH~ FLORIDA:
Section l: The City Council is of the present opinion
that it would be preferable to defer the immediate construction
eL that portion of Se~crest Boulevard lying North of Woolbright
Road and that the funds orzginally intended for said project be
reatlocated for the widening of Congress from the Boynton Canal
southward to the extent of available funds. Further that the
widening of Seacres~ Boulevard from Woolbright Road south proceed
as originally contemplated.
