WATW~RDEPAR~<E~ OF THE SAID CITY ~_NDRE-
PEALING ALL CONFLICTION ORDINANCES.
I~EAS~ a condition exists which is not in accord with
the proper operation of the City water department; snd

~EAS, by the chang in the following procedure is
herewith made $
NOW, T~ZREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COF~ff~SION OF T~E
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH:
That the following rules~ rates and regulations governing
the Water Department of the City of Boynton Beach shall be
adopted~ also so approving and adopting all acts previously
mada and enforced by the City Commission concerning said
Water Dapartment.
~RTICLE ~
Minimum size of meter
A monthly minimum charge will be made, payable monthly~
varing according to the size of the meter; and allowing a
fixed amount of water without excess~ charges for the dif-
ferent size meters~ as set forth' in the following schedule;

SECTION B. On all metered water supply service each and every
month shall be a complete period in itself, and no excess con-
sumotion of water during the month shall be charged against the
minimum charge of rate or be added to the consttmption of any other
month or months.

SECTION 3. ~henever an application is made for water
supply service~ the water collector shall reeuire a deposit
to guarantee payment of water used. The guarantee of pay-
ment deposit for all bills shall be made by each consumer~
owner~ or applicant~ varying according to the size of the
meter in use~ as foilows.

Whenever in any month the water bill of any cons~3mer
amounts to as great or greater sum than the amount of his
deposit~ the water department may in its decression demand
the deposit guarantee be raised to such amount ~o to double
the bill for the month current.
SECTION ~. Upon application for water service~ and
payment of deoosit and connection charge as required by
this ordinance~ water will be turned on as soon as prac-
tical. ~ll bills for water shall become due and payable
on the 1st day of each month~ and if paid in full by the
10th day of the month~ the payment shall be for the exact
amount of the water used and charges for %under this ordin-
ance~ however~ if s~id bill is paid after 10th day of the
month~ there shall be a penalty of ten (10) per cent~ and
if said bill is not paid on or before the 20th'of the
the water shall be cut off without further notice. All
bills sent out by the Water Department shall be addressed
to the address ~esignated in the application in the event
there is none sadesignated the bill shall be sent to the
name of the applicant~ Boynton Beach~ Florida.
Water w~ll be cut off a~ any t_me requested by cus-
tomer and guarantee of payment deposit guarantee refunded
upon settlement of all back charges.
Meter shall be removed by the water Deos~tmeht with-
out delay ~enever water is cut off either ~y request of
the c~usumer or by the Water Department for non-payment of
charges~ or for other reason and a charge of one ($1.00)
Dollar shall be paid before meter shall again be installed.
BE IT ORDAI~D; that all ordinances or parts of ordin-
ances in conflict herewith be and the s~me hereby are repealed.
