BE IT ORDAINED BY THE T0k~ C0~a~[ISSION OF THE
TOWN OF BOYNTON, 'FLORIDA:
That Ordinance No. 8~~ entitled: ~_~n Ordinance
Amending Ordinance #lV entitled: ~Registration and
Elections of the Town of Boynton~ ~alm Beach Co~nty~
Florida~W, be amended by adding to Section 6 thereof,
the following provision:
~Eaeh~UChpe~ition or certificate shall be
accomOanied by a filing fee of Tw&n~y Five Dollars
($~00).~
Said Section of said Ordinance, as so amended,
sb~ll read as follows:
Section 8. The Tow~ Commission shall prepare
and cause to be printed tlme official ballot for each
reg~dla~ and soecial election of the Town Nominations
ms.y be made by the filing of a petition si~ued by at
least five (5) ~egistered voters of the Town~ or by
a certificate signed by the Chairman or Secretary of
any mass meetzng, held wit~In the Town, ~t which
inations shall have been made. The said e~m_mca~e
shall state when and where said mass meetir~ was held
and give the 'names of the respective candidates for
the offices for which they slaall be nominated. Es. ah
such petition or certificate sb~l~, be accompanied by
a filing fee of Twenty Five Dollars (.~25.00). All
nominations sk~ll be made at least ten (10) days prior
to the date of the election. Electors shall not be
confined to the names of c'~didates printed or
type~,written upon the official ballot~ but may erase
such names and substitute names of other csnaidates
to be written upon the bs. llots by the electors. None
but the official ballot shall be used. Typewritten
forms for ballots may .be used as well as printed forms.
