A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
ACCEPTING FEDERAL GRANT TENDERED BY UNITED STATES
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY.
WHEREAS, the City of Boynton Beach, Florida has been
tendered a Federal Grant in the amount of $3,066,190.00 by the
United States Environmental Protection Agency under the pro-
visions of the Federal Water Pollution Control Act Amendments of
1972, and
WHEREAS, after thorough investigation, it is deemed in
best interest of the inhabitants of the City of BoyntOn Beach,
that said Grant be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TIM CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1: That Federal Grant in the amount of $3,066,
tendered to the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, by the United
States Environmental Protection Agency, under the provisions of
the Federal Water Pollution Control Act Amendments of 1972, is
hereby formally accepted, and t~e~.Mayor and City Clerk of the
City of Boynton Beach are hereby authorized to execute the
Grant Agreement.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Frank Kohl, as City Manager
of the City of Boynton Beach, FLorida, is hereby authorized to
execute any and all documents in connection with the processing
of said application, as authorized representative of the City.
