A RESO'LUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA
REQUESTING ESTABLISHMENT OF TOLL FREE TELEPHONE
SERVICE WITHIN THE TERRITORIAL LIMIT~i~OF COASTAL
PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, the coastal area of Palm Beach County, from the Town of
Jupiter to the City of Boca Raton, presently consiit~tes an integrated
metropolitan area, and
WHEREAS, ii is deemed necessary and appropriate that said area be
entitled to toll free telephone service, and
WHEREAS, Southern Bell Telephone Company presently holds the sole
and exclusive franchise to provide telephone service within said area,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORID,A:
Section 1: That Southern Bell Telephone Company is hereby requested
to institute toll free telephone service within the coastal area of Palm Beach
County, Florida, from She Tm,~n of Jupiter to the City of Boca Raton, Florida,
at the earliest possible date,
