77-LRE'SOLUTION NO. 77
WHEREAS, Aaron Witherspoon is a resident of Boynton
Beach; and
WHEREAS, Aaron Witherspoon was injured in a tragic acci-
dent in this City; and
WHEREAS, Aaron Witherspoon has been an inspiration to
all people by his display of courage, bravery, stamina, endurance
and faith in God, far surpassing that which most people would be
able t~, all in the face of great suffering and adversity;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
Boynton Beach, Florida does hereby bestow upon Aaron Witherspoon
the title of Honorary Councilman of Boynton Beach, and
FURTHERMORE, declares the week of February 6, 1977 as
AARON WITHERSPOON ~EK
and asks all citizens of Boynton Beach to support this boy in a
monetary way if possible, as well as in their prayers, and
FURTHER, that a copy of this Resolution be mailed to
Aaron Witherspoon at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami.
This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its
passage.
