76-SS RESOLUTION NO. 76-SS A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, APPOINTING INTERIM MUNICIPAL JUDGE AND ESTABLISHING RATE OF COMPENSATION. WHEREAS, the Honorable Sidney Schwartz, Municipal Judge of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, due to a temporary disability, is presently unable to per- form the functions of Municipal Judge during the mOnth of August, 1976; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, is authorize~ under Section 38 of the Municipal Charter of said City to appoint a substitute Judge should the Municipal Judge become disabled and establish the compensation for such interim Judge by Resolution; and WHEREAS, the City Manager of said City, on August 2nd , 1976, appointed Honorable John D. WesseL. as interim Municipal Judge, and the City Council is de- sirous of confirming said appointment by Resolution. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA: Section 1: Thai Honorable John D. Wessel is hereby appointed to the unctassi- 5ed position of interim Municipal Judge of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, said appointment being effective August 2nd , 1976, and continuing during said month and year and, in the discretion of the City Manager, extending a reasonable period thereafter should such become necessary as a result of the inability of the Honorable Sidney Schwartz to resume the performance of his duties as Municipal Judge. Se_ .ction 2: The compensation to be paid the Honorable John D. Wessel as in- ~erim Municipal Judge is hereby fixed at $ 72.00 for each Court appearance made by him during the term of his temporary appointment. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17 day of August, 1976.
