76-QQ RESOLUTION NO. 76-QQ
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
AMENDING SECTION 9 OF RESOLUTION NO. 75-W TO INCREASE
AMOUNT OF SERVICE CHARGE FOR CONNECTING AND DISCON-
NECTING WATER METERS SUBSEQUENT TO THE INITIAL IN-
STALLATION.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, by Resolu-
tion Nos. §7-I and 75-W, has heretofore established and amended water rates, water
meter connection charges, charges for meter deposits and other charges relative
thereto; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of said City deems it necessary and essential for
~,he efficient daily operation of the municipal government to provide for increases in
certain of said charges;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1: That Section 9 of Resolution No. 75-W, which presently reads as
follows:
"Section 9: That after the initial installation, the service charge for connect-
ing and disconnecting shall be $3.00 each, except that the service charge
for connecting and disconnecting after normal working hours or on holidays
shall be $5.00 each."
and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 9: That after the installation of the water meter, the service charge
for subsequent connections and disconnections thereof shall be $5.00 each, or
a total of $I0.00 for each related connection and disconnection, except that the
service charge for subsequent connections and disconnections done after
normal working hours or on holidays shall be $?. 50 each, or a total of $15.00
for each such related connection and disconnection."
