A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH PALM BEACH
COUNTY PERTAINING TO REMOVAL OF BURIAL SITES LOCATED
IN COUNTY RIGHT-OF-WAY ADJACENT TO CEMETERY AND
WOOLBRIGHT ROAD (S.W. 15th AVENUE) .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIlE CITY OF BOYNTON
BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1: Thai the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, enter into an Agree-
ment with Palm Beach County, Florida, whereby the City agrees thai upon receipt
from Palm Beach County of notification that burial sites located in the County-
owned right-of-way have been uncovered in the process of widening Woolbright
Road (S .W. 15th Avenue), the City will rebury the uncovered remains in graves
within the municipal cemetery at the expense of the County; a copy of said Agree-
ment being annexed hereto and hereby made a part hereof by reference.
Sectio.n 2:. That the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Boynton Beach,
Florida, be and they are hereby authorized to act for the City in entering into and
executing said Agreement with Palm Beach County, Florida.

WITNE S SETH :
WItEREAS, the COUNTY intends to widen and imr~r0ve
Woolbright Road in-the CITY, and ~_~': .
WHEREAS a ,portion of 'Woolbri~ht -Road runs adjacent to
the Municipal Cemetery and
WHEREAS the COUNTY desires to enter into an agreement
with the CITY to rebury any remains which the COUNTY may uncover
in the widening of Woolbright Road, and ;~
WHEREAS., the COUNTY has advertised in the public news-
papers twice for information concerning anY:/sUch burial sites
Then' the COUNTY agrees to notifDr, the'CiTY of an~ burial
sites it does uncover in its road right-of-way and the CITY
agrees to rebury these remains in sites wit~hin the Muni~5~al
Cemetery at the expense of the COUNTY ~t being the intent of the
COUNTY to have available during the ConstructiOn a mortician to

crew. .The necessity for this agreement'being the. desire to save~
time and money which may otherwise be lost by uncovering graves
without being prepared.
