Section A. Every metered water sup~_y~ service shall have a monthly demsmd charge or rate on each service installed, vary- lng with and based upon the size of service pipe required and installed in accordance with the rmle~ of the Commission. This minimum, demand charge shall be in accordance withI the folio zng ~ohedule and sb~!l entitle the consumer, without excess charge, to have supplied through tb~ meter the number of gallons off water set forth in the table. Service DOMESTIC OO~%9~ER ~IAL OR ~OLES~tLE R~T~ ~.!ONTHL¥ ~IN~FO~ DP~AND CHARGE AND WATER ALLOI~ED WITHOUT EXCESS. ~.Inimum Monthly ~mount of Water allowed 5~000 gml!ons i8 °50 85,000 gallons The meter rate for water eupp~y s~rvice in excess of the amount allowed p~r month for the minimum demand charge shall be in accordance with the following meter rates for DONESTIC METERS. The meter rate for water supply service in excess of the amount allowed per month for the minimum charge shall be in ac~ cordance with the following mete~ rates for C0~MERCiAL METERS. All over 88,000 gallons shall be charged at the rate oF twelve cents (!2~ per 1,000 gallons~ EACH MONTH A COMPLETE PERIOD Section Be On all metered water supply service, each and every month shall be a complete per~od in itself~ ~ud no excess con= s~ption of water during one month shall b~ charged ag~ nst the minimu~ charge or ~ate or be added to the consumption of any other month or mo~ths. ARTICLE ~ APPLIC~TION AND CONTRACT S~ction A~ ~ll ~pplications for wate~ supply must be made at the Town Hall of-the To~n of Boy,_ton, Palm Be~ch County~ Florida, on a blard~ p~epared by the Board of Town Con~?~issioners of the Town of Boynton, Florida. 4. ~ll contr~ct~ fo~ water supply service sha~ expire at the next succeeding calenda~ month from date of application, but all contracts shall continue in force by renewal without act or notice from either party to' the oth~r~ from month to month~ l~s ten days (lO) notice in writing iL given to ~ither party by the other, of a desire to terminat~ the contract at the piration of th~ then c~lsndar month and th~ Charging fo~ and pay- m~nt of wat~ ~at~ o~ ~nt~ ~onthly~ or in ~y other m~ner~ mt any interv~l or period other th~n mont~y~ shall not ~ con- strued as altering the p~riod of t~e contract o~ any r,newal ~thsreof under this rule. ~TI~E ~. TAPPING M_~INS.~ SERVICE PIPES ~%~ CONNECTIONS S~otion B, The Water D~p~rtment shall lay th~ service- pip, to the curb at the exp~me of the o~r, who sh~ll m~ a deposit therefo~ of an ~ount equivalent to the Water Depart~ ment~s estimate of the exact cost thereof, plus ten per cent (10%) for supervision and us~ of tools, etc., s~cepting such cases where it is deemed advis~bl~ by the %~zt~r Collector to charg$ th~ exact cost plus ten per cent (10%) for supervision use of tools, etc., to the o~er, on the ns~t monthly bill ren~ der~d after' the installation of the servic~e oo~uection. ~. ~ addition~l minimum monthly s~rvice charg~ shall mad~ for each additional dwelling or tenement contorting five rooms or less owned by th~ same landlord built ~ co~uection on the sams or adjoining lot supplied by service pipe. ART ICLE 8 ~ 5~ERED ~Vi~TER SUPPLY SERVI~ Section F~ Reading of meters are to be mad~ EONT~Y and if the meter is in good order and ha~ been so during the time since the last previous reading, bills az~e rendered in accord- anc~ therewi~, ~t the l~'ater Dep~rtmsnt r~serv~s the right~ at it's option, in cas®of~' i~ge users of water supply service, or for any other reason deemed by it to be ~e~' ~ su_~-~cl~nt, to r~d mstsr or meters and to r~ndsr bills ~ ~ne~eon, in the $~e ma~ue~ as stated above for monthly res~dings, at more frequent inter,als. All readings of meters shall be taken as near as practicable on the same calendar day of each month. ~RT ICLE 6. PAYN~TS Section E. The ~ater Collector be and he hereby is author~ !zed, to ~t a ten pe~ cent (10%) discount for prompt Pa~ent of water bills provided s~e are paid on or before the 8th' day of the month succeeding that in which the water is consumed. In the event that the water bill so rendered remains unpaid at thC close of busin, es8 the llth day of the month, provided howeve~ t~t if said date falls on Surly, said mul~ shall take effect °n the next succeeding day. The Water Superintendent is hereby directed to dis¢~inue~.~ service without further notice, move the meter from the premise for which the bill was rendered. ARTieR 9~ TURN-ON ~$ S~T-0FF. Section D. There shall be no sep~ate charge for shut~ ting off the wate~ supply to and for any premises, but in every ins'tmuce, whether such shut-off was originally made for non-pay- ment ~or any delinquent account or accounts or any other viola~ tion of any rule of the ~&'ater Dep~tment or at the r equemt the o~er¢ the c~rge for turning on the water supply shall be. ONE ($!.00) DOLL~, payable in advance for each service co~uected with~ is so turned on. Section Ho The shutting off of the water supply from, and the discontinuance of service to, any premise or pre~uises for any cause shall not entitl~ the o~r to ar~~ abatement or d~duction in or from the water charges, nor to any refund on ~y such charg~ paid in advance, during or for the time such shut~ off, ~uless such period of shut-off contin~ues and extends into th~ next fiscal r~onth following that in which shaft-off was made, ~d then only provided such shut-off extends ~ud continues throuEh~ out the v~nols of such fiscal month n~xt fo!lowi~.g t~t in which the shut-off was~a~d~ ~ ~en such shut-off extends and continues t~oughout the whol~ of~ such fiscal month nsxt following trot in which sluut~off was made, any abatement or deduction ~o~ or rs- fund of water supply service charges shall apply only ~om and after th~ c!os~ of the fiscal ~onth in which such s~-~ff was mads~ In oth,~ words, the shutting off of the wat~ suppl~ for any cau~, to and for a~ prsmis~ or premises shall not work ~ c~ncel~atior~ of any contract for water supply ~ervic~, ~xcept at tbs option of the Water D~p~tm~nt~ or upon the notice of th~ owner to the ~ater Dspartment as providsd in Subdivision ~umber four (~) of S~ction (A) ~rticl, Thru, ($) of th~se rules. ~RT ICL~ 18 BANK ~ AC C O~T S~ction A.
