O#110ORDINANCE NO. 110 AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOIYN OF BOYNTON~ PAL_~vi~ BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, ELI~INATING THE SURETY BOND OF TM TAX ASSESSOR OF TI~E TO~ OF BOYNTON~ FLORIDA. WHEREAS~ Ordinance No. 4 of the Town of Boynton, Florida, reads in part as follows: "Sec. l~ The Town Clerk mhall be ex-officio Tax Assessor~ and before entering uoon his or her duties as Tax Assessor, shall give a bond~ with two or more sufficient sureties or with an a~oproved surety company as surety, in the oenal sum of Two Hundred (~00.00) Doll~rs~ conditioned upon his or her faithfully performing his or her duties as Tax Assessor~ ~his bond shall be separate from his or her bond as Towa Clerk. Sec. ~ The bond of the Tax Assossor must be approved by the To~rn Conmuission before the Tax Assessor enters upon the duties of his or her office.~'. and ~HEREAS~ The Board of To~ Cormuissioners of the Town of Boynton~ Florida~ deem it useless and of no avail to require a bond posted by the T~x Assessor of said Town~ NOW THE~FOHE, Be It Ordained by the To~m Co~.issioners of the Tow~ of Boynton, Florida, that Section I of Ordinance ~ of the Town of Boynton~ Florida~ be rescinded~ and that the Tax Assessor of the Tovaa of Boynton, Florida~ not be required to fu_~nish bond in his capacity as Tax Assessor. All Ordinances~ Resolutions or Regulations~ or parts of Ordinances~ Resol~tio~s or Regulations in coral!ici herewith are hereby repea!ed~ The above and foregoing Ordinance was read in full for the first time at a Regular ~eetimg of the Board of To~aa Commissioners, held J~e 16th~ I~1~ and was ado~ted on its final reading at a Reg~_lar _~Ie~timg of the Board of Towm Commissioners held o~ the Vth day of Ju!y~ A~ D~ and a copy hereof posted at the door of the Town _Hall of the Tov~_ of Boynton~ Florida.
